HERSHEY, PA – The Hartford Wolf Pack dropped a 4-1 decision to the Hershey Bears on Wednesday night at the Giant Center. The loss dropped the club to 6-7-1-0 on the season.

The Bears opened the scoring 5:35 into the hockey game when Josh Dunne potted his fifth goal of the season. Justin Holl sent the puck to the left-wing circle for Andrew Cristall, who stepped into a shot that found its way into traffic.

The puck clipped Dunne and dribbled by the left pad of Joonas Korpisalo to make it 1-0 for the Bears.

Korpisalo was strong for the Wolf Pack in the opening frame, making eleven saves on 12 shots to keep the score 1-0 heading into the middle stanza.

Louie Belpedio extended the lead to 2-0 3:22 into the second period, ripping home his second goal of the season on the power play. Belpedio blasted a shot by the left shoulder of Korpisalo for the power play strike.

The Bears’ power play struck again at 13:25, ballooning the lead to 3-0. Bogdan Trineyev collected possession off a bounce on the right-wing side. He quickly sent a pass to Alex Suzdalev in the left-wing circle, who slammed home his first goal of the season.
