Wolf Pack Weekly, November 21-27

Nov 21, 2016

After suffering through an 0-6-2-0 skid, the Wolf Pack (5-9-2-0, 12 pts.) won two of their three games this past week, sweeping a pair of home tilts.  On Wednesday night at the XL Center, the Wolf Pack defeated the Springfield Thunderbirds in the first-ever meeting between the two teams, 3-2 in a shootout.  After a 6-3 loss in Binghamton on Saturday, the Wolf Pack posted another home win Sunday, again going to a shootout and triumphing 4-3 over the Providence Bruins.  Rookie forward Steven Fogarty had the shootout winners in both of the victories, and fellow first-year pro Brandon Halverson notched his first career AHL win in Wednesday’s game, with 25 saves and a 3-for-3 performance in the shootout.
