Sunday, November 18, 2007 - 7:37 PM
Rookie defenseman Michael Sauer scored his first professional goal with just 1:04 remaining in regulation to snap a 3-3 tie and give Hartford a 4-3 win over Portland at the Cumberland County Civic Center.
Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau scored a goal and added an assist against his former team, and Brodie Dupont also had a goal and a helper.
Jake Taylor rounded out the Wolf Pack’s scoring, and Andrew Hutchinson chipped in three assists.
Portland dug itself a 3-1 deficit, but goals by Stephen Dixon and Andrew Ebbett evened the score until Hartford’s Sauer won it.
