Hartford Wolf Pack defeat Worcester Sharks, 2-1


The Wolf Pack scored a pair of second-period goals and held on for a 2-1 victory over Worcester at the DCU Center.

The loss marked the first regulation defeat for the Sharks, who fell to 4-1-1-0 on the campaign.

Hartford received goals from Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau and Greg Moore on the way to its second win in as many nights.

Moore broke a 1-1 deadlock with an unassisted goal at 19:02 of the second period.

Worcester’s Mike Iggulden scored the home team’s lone goal of the game, his fourth of the season, assisted by Ashton Rome and Craig Valette.

Hartford goaltender Chris Holt stopped 25 of 26 shots to secure the victory.
