Hartford Wolf Pack fall to P-Bruins; 4-3

Petteri Nokelainen broke a 3-3 deadlock with a power play goal at 14:37 of the third period to lead Providence to a 4-3 win over Hartford at the Hartford Civic Center.

Steve MacIntyre, T.J. Trevelyan, and Brandon Bochenski also scored for the P-Bruins, who won for the fifth time in six games this season (5-1-0-0).

The Wolf Pack started quick of the gate, as rookie Brodie Dupont (pictured) scored shorthanded at 3:27 of the first period for his first professional goal. Greg Moore picked up one of his two assists on the night, and he now has a point in three straight (1-3-4).

Hartford eventually built a 3-1 lead on the strength of additional first-period tallies by Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau and Dane Byers.

Trevelyan cut it to a one-goal deficit for Providence at 18:18 of the opening period, and Bochenski tied the game at 11:24 of the second.

That set the stage for the game-winner by Nokelainen, who has a point in all five games he has played this season (3-3-6).

Tuukka Rask had to make only 14 saves to secure the win for Providence, while Chris Holt took the loss for Hartford, making 26 saves in his first AHL start of the campaign.
