Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned center Bruce Graham to the Wolf Pack from the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL, and that the Wolf Pack have released forward Ryan Murphy from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement and returned him to Charlotte. Graham, a third-year pro and a second-round pick by the Rangers in the 2004 NHL Draft (51st overall), has played in 18 ECHL games with Charlotte, notching five goals and six assists for 11 points, along with 30 penalty minutes. In an earlier stint this year with the Wolf Pack, Graham suited up for 10 games and registered one assist. Last year, the 6-6, 230-pound Moncton, New Brunswick native skated in seven AHL contests with the Wolf Pack and registered one assist. In 65 games with the Checkers, Graham posted totals of 33-23-56, with 83 penalty minutes. That topped the Charlotte team in goals and was good for third on the squad in points.

Murphy had appeared in seven games with the Wolf Pack and had recorded two penalty minutes.
