Wolf Pack Weekly, November 16-22

Wolf Pack Weekly, November 16-22

Nov 16, 2015

The Wolf Pack (6-7-2-0, 14 pts., .467 pts. percentage) rediscovered their offensive touch this week, but wins remained elusive.  The Pack dropped both ends of a back-to-back set against the Portland Pirates in Portland, falling 6-2 on Wednesday night and 3-2 on Friday.  Then, in a wild affair Sunday at the XL Center, the Wolf Pack raced to a 5-1 first-period advantage over the AHL-leading Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, only to surrender five second-period goals to the visitors and ultimately lose 7-6 in overtime.  Captain Ryan Bourque had two goals in that game, and also scored in Friday’s contest, and Chad Nehring added a goal and two assists.

This week:  The Wolf Pack have their third three-game weekend of the season upcoming, starting with a Friday-night visit to Utica to take on the Comets (7:00 PM faceoff).  Then it’s back to the XL Center for a pair of home games, as the Lehigh Valley Phantoms visit on Saturday night at 7:00 and the Pack rematch with the Comets on Sunday at 3:00.

Friday, November 20 at the Utica Comets (Vancouver) at the Utica Memorial Auditorium, 7:00 PM
