Wolf Pack Announce Roster Moves

Nov 6, 2014

Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld today announced three Wolf Pack player moves.

Forward Michael Kantor has been reassigned by the parent New York Rangers to the Wolf Pack’s ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors, forward Shawn O’Donnell has been loaned to the Road Warriors by the Wolf Pack, and defenseman Jared Nightingale has been released from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement by the Wolf Pack, and will be returning to the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye.

Kantor, a second-year pro and a 2013 Ranger free-agent signee out of the Ontario Hockey League, has missed the Wolf Pack’s last nine games after being injured in the Wolf Pack’s season opener October 12 in Syracuse.  O’Donnell, a second-year man out of St. Mary’s University, has skated in three games with the Wolf Pack this season, going scoreless and Even, with 17 penalty minutes.  He signed an AHL contract with the Wolf Pack July 22, 2014.  Nightingale had seen action in six Wolf Pack games since signing his PTO October 13, and had chipped in one assist and a +5, with two PIM.  The ninth-year pro played one game with Toledo this year prior to joining the Wolf Pack.

The Wolf Pack’s next action is a two-game trip to Hershey to take on the Bears, and the first of those two battles is this Saturday night, November 8.  That game faces off at 7:00 PM, and all of the action can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1410, and on-line at www.foxsportsradio1410.com and iHeartRadio.  Video streaming is available at www.ahllive.com.

The Pack’s next home game at the XL Center is Friday, November 14, with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers making their first visit of the year to Hartford.  Once again this season every Friday night home game features $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period.

Tickets for all 2014-15 Wolf Pack home games are now on sale at the XL Center ticket office, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499.  Wolf Pack tickets start as low as $12 for youth 12 years old or younger.
