Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has released forward Tommy Thompson from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.

Thompson has skated in three games with the Wolf Pack, going scoreless with three shots on goal.  In 43 games with the Wolf Pack’s ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, he has 14 goals and 13 assists for 27 points, plus 21 penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack’s next game is this Saturday, March 4, a home contest vs. the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.  That is a special 3:00 PM faceoff, and the first 3,000 fans to enter this game receive a special Wolf Pack Mark Twain bobblehead, presented by XFINITY.  Saturday is also “Military Appreciation Day”, with the Wolf Pack wearing special military-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off, with proceeds benefitting military-related charities.
