Ryan Gropp Returns to Wolf Pack

Dec 11, 2019

Wolf Pack general manager Chris Drury announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned forward Ryan Gropp to the Wolf Pack from its ECHL affiliate, the Maine Mariners.

Gropp, who has played one game with the Wolf Pack this season, has three goals and four assists for seven points in ten games with the Mariners.  The third-year pro also has posted a +4 and served six minutes in penalties.

A second-round selection (41st overall) by the Rangers in the 2015 NHL Draft, Gropp has suited up for 121 career AHL games with the Wolf Pack, notching 25 goals and 22 assists for 47 points, along with 34 penalty minutes.  In 18 career ECHL contests with the Mariners, the 23-year-old 6-3, 187-pounder has totaled eight goals and seven assists for 15 points, plus six PIM.
