New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has assigned forward Marek Hrivik to the Wolf Pack.

Hrivik skated in five games with the Rangers this season, registering one assist and a plus-three rating. He made his NHL debut on Feb. 21 vs. Detroit and tallied his first career NHL assist/point on Feb. 23 at New Jersey. Hrivik also posted a plus-one rating on Feb. 25 at St. Louis.

The 6-2, 205-pounder has skated in 66 games with the Wolf Pack this season, registering 12 goals and 28 assists for 40 points, along with a plus-three rating and 18 penalty minutes. Hrivik has established AHL career-highs in assists and points and is one goal shy of tying his career-high in 2015-16. At the time of his recall to the Rangers on Apr. 8, he led Hartford in assists, ranked second in points, and was tied for fifth on the team in goals this season. Hrivik has recorded a point in eight of his last 11 AHL games, tallying 11 points (five goals, six assists) over the span.
