Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned defenseman Troy Donnay to the Wolf Pack from its ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

Donnay, a 6-7, 205-pound rookie out of the Ontario Hockey League, has skated in 61 games for the Swamp Rabbits this season, notching two goals and nine assists for 11 points, along with 48 penalty minutes and a +3 rating.

The Rangers signed Donnay, a 22-year-old native of Fenton, MI, as a free agent July 31, 2013.  He played five seasons in the OHL for the London Knights and Erie Otters, registering eight goals and 51 assists for 59 points in 254 career games.

The Wolf Pack take on the Springfield Falcons tonight at the XL Center, in the Wolf Pack’s last regular-season home game.  That is a 7:00 PM faceoff, and it’s “Fan Appreciation Night”.  The Wolf Pack will salute all of the great fans who have supported the team throughout the season, with numerous exciting prizes throughout the night, including a big screen TV, a grill and hundreds of dollars in gift certificates to local restaurants.

Tickets for Fan Appreciation Night are on sale at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499.
