Conor Allen Returned to Wolf Pack

New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has assigned defenseman Conor Allen to the Wolf Pack.

Allen, 23, made his NHL debut on December 29, 2013 against Tampa Bay and has skated in three games with the Rangers this season. He returns to Hartford where he has registered five goals and eight assists for 13 points, along with 34 penalty minutes in 29 games this season. Allen ranked fifth on the Wolf Pack in points, fourth in goals, and was tied for fourth in assists at the time of his recall on December 27. He was also tied for first among team defensemen and second on Hartford overall with two power play goals on the season.

The Chicago, Illinois native originally signed with the Rangers as an undrafted free agent on March 29, 2013.
