Adam Chapie Reassigned to Wolf Pack

Wolf Pack general manager Chris Drury announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned forward Adam Chapie to the Wolf Pack from its ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

Chapie, 26, a second-year pro out of U. Mass-Lowell, has a team-leading eight goals, good for a tie for second in the ECHL, and nine assists for 17 points in 11 games with the Swamp Rabbits this season.  The 6-1, 186-pound Chapie’s point total ranks him second in the league, one behind teammate Allan McPherson.

Signed as a free agent by the Rangers April 1, 2016, Chapie logged 24 games with the Wolf Pack last season, posting four assists and six penalty minutes, and had four goals and eight assists for 12 points, along with 16 PIM, in 24 games with Greenville.  In four seasons with U. Mass-Lowell, the Oxford, MI native totaled 46 goals and 49 assists for 95 points, plus 105 PIM, in 148 career games.
