Northland AEG announced today that the Wolf Pack Community Foundation’s annual “Bowl-a-Thon” generated over $20,000 for Special Olympics Connecticut.
Over 200 bowlers took part in the event, which took place this past Sunday, November 8 at AMF Silver Lanes in East Hartford, CT. The participants raised pledges for the opportunity to bowl alongside the Wolf Pack players and coaches in the 10th annual edition of the Bowl-a-Thon.
“Special Olympics Connecticut is very grateful to partner with the Hartford Wolf Pack each year to create a unique fundraising opportunity,” said Jackie Turro, Director of Development for Special Olympics Connecticut Eastern Region. “Every year, we look forward to the Bowl-A-Thon and hope to continue to grow the event going into 2010.”
